Uses :

Standard grade ferrosilicon 75 is to a great extent used in the manufacture of steel, and in foundries, both as a de-oxidizer and as an alloying additive.

It is also used as a graphitizing additive to cast iron.

Our product is delivered within the size ranges as specified by our customers and pursuant to the ASTM and ABNT applicable standards.

Production capacity :

MINASLIGAS can produce presently up to 60,000 metric tons of ferrosilicon (all grades) per year.

Packaging :

Standard grade ferrosilicon is delivered either in bulk or packed in bags, pursuant to customers´ requests.
