We have a constant investment in the formation and maintenance of our forests, using good management practices and new technologies. We also comply with environmental and legal requirements in work processes and routines, such as the planting and handling of eucalyptus forests, forest harvesting, wood transportation and the carbonization of firewood.
The company owns about 57 thousand hectares of land, of which around 26 thousand hectares are available for eucalyptus planting, and the remainder is distributed among areas of native forest and permanent preservation. We carry out actions for the preservation and monitoring of the environment with the objective of mitigating the environmental impacts of our activities, including monitoring of fauna, flora, control of springs, paths, actions for the Prevention and Fighting of Forest Fires.
Therefore, we guarantee the sustainability not only of the fundamental and strategic raw material for our production process, but also of the entire ecosystem around us.
